본 연구에서는 초등학생을 대상으로 지각된 모의 양육태도와 자기조절 능력 및 행동문제간의 관계를 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 서울 지역의 한 초등학교 5, 6학년생 511명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지각된 모의 양육태도에 따른 아동의 자기조절능력의 차이를 알아본 결과, 모의 양육태도를 수용적으로 지각할수록 자기조절능력이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아동의 자기조절능력에 따른 행동문제의 차이를 알아본 결과, 내재화 행동문제의 경우 자기조절능력에 따른 차이는 나타나지 않았으며, 외현화 행동문제의 경우 자기조절능력이 높을수록 행동문제가 적은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 지각된 모의 양육태도에 따른 아동의 행동문제를 알아본 결과, 모의 양육태도를 수용적으로 지각할수록 내재화·외현화 행동문제가 적은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 아동의 행동문제에 대한 모의 양육태도와 자기조절능력의 상대적 영향력을 알아보았다. 그 결과 내재화 행동문제의 경우, 양육태도의 영향력이 더 컸으며, 외현화 행동문제의 경우, 자기조절능력의 영향력이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the mother’s rearing attitude perceived by children, their self-regulation ability and behavior problems. For this, we conducted a questionnaire survey of 511 5th and 6th grade students in an elementary school in Seoul. The results of this study are as follows; First, this study examined the difference of children''s self-regulation ability according to the mother’s rearing attitude perceived by the children. The result shows that children''s self-regulation ability is higher when the mother’s rearing attitude is perceived to be receptive. Second, this study examined the difference of children’s behavior problems according to their self-regulation ability. According to the results, no difference is observed in internalizing behavior problems according to self-egulation ability but externalizing behavior problems are less frequent when self-regulation ability is high. Third, this study examined the difference of children’s behavior problems according to the mother’s rearing attitude perceived. The result shows that internalizing and externalizing behavior problems are less frequent when the mother’s rearing attitude is perceived to be receptive. Fourth, this study also examined the relative influence of the mother’s rearing attitude perceived and children’s self-regulation ability on children’s behavior problems. The result shows that the influence of rearing attitude is stronger in internalizing behavior problems, but concerning externalizing behavior problems, self-regulation ability is more influential.
