초록(요약문)
본 연구는 대면 및 AI 상담에 대한 도움추구태도와 자기낙인의 차이를 비교하고, AI 상담 경험 유무에 따른 자기은폐, 자기낙인 및 도움추구태도의 관계를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 대면 상담 경험이 없는 만 19세에서 34세 청년 410명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하고, 대응표본 t검정, 일원분산분석, 매개모형 분석 및 다집단 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 대면 상담 도움추구태도는 AI 상담보다 높았고, AI 상담 자기낙인은 대면 상담보다 높게 나타났다. 또한 AI 상담 경험 집단은 자기은폐와 대면 상담 자기낙인 수준이 높았으며, AI 상담 도움추구태도는 더 긍정적이었다. 대면 상담에서는 자기낙인의 완전매개효과가 확인되었으나, AI 상담에서는 매개효과가 나타나지 않았다. 또한 AI 상담 만족도가 높을수록 자기낙인은 낮고 도움추구태도는 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 대면 상담 중심으로 이해되어 온 도움추구 기제가 AI 상담 맥락에서는 다르게 작동할 가능성을 확인하고, 청년층의 AI 상담 도움추구 과정을 이해하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하였다는 데 의의가 있다.

This study compared help-seeking attitudes and self-stigma toward face-to-face and AI counseling and examined the relationships among self-concealment, self-stigma, and help-seeking attitudes according to AI counseling experience. Data were collected from 410 young adults aged 19 to 34 with no prior face-to-face counseling experience. Paired-samples t-tests, one-way ANOVA, mediation analyses, and multi-group analyses were conducted. Results showed that help-seeking attitudes toward face-to-face counseling were more positive, whereas self-stigma toward AI counseling was higher. Participants with AI counseling experience showed higher self-concealment and face-to-face counseling self-stigma, but more positive attitudes toward AI counseling. Self-stigma fully mediated the relationship between self-concealment and help-seeking attitudes in face-to-face counseling, but no mediating effect was found in AI counseling. Higher AI counseling satisfaction was associated with lower self-stigma and more positive help-seeking attitudes. The findings suggest that help-seeking mechanisms may operate differently in AI counseling contexts.
