초록 (요약문)
본 연구는 부모의 심리적 통제와 스마트폰 과의존의 관계에서 사회부과적 완벽주의와 진로결정수준의 순차적 매개효과를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 대학생을 대상으로 부와 모의 심리적 통제, 스마트폰 과의존, 사회부과적 완벽주의, 진로결정수준 척도로 구성된 자기보고식 온라인 설문을 실시하였으며, 수집된 300명의 자료를 바탕으로 SPSS 29.0 프로그램과 AMOS 30.0 프로그램을 사용하여 구조방정식 모형을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생이 지각한 부와 모의 심리적 통제와 스마트폰 과의존 간의 관계에서 사회부과적 완벽주의의 매개효과가 나타났다. 즉 각각의 부와 모의 심리적 통제가 높을수록 자녀의 사회부과적 완벽주의 성향이 높아지고, 이는 스마트폰 과의존을 높이는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부모의 심리적 통제와 스마트폰 과의존 간의 관계에서 진로결정수준은 매개효과가 없는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 부모의 심리적 통제와 스마트폰 과의존 간의 관계에서 사회부과적 완벽주의와 진로결정수준의 순차적 매개효과가 나타났다. 즉, 부와 모의 각각의 심리적 통제가 사회부과적 완벽주의 성향을 높이고, 이로 인해 진로결정 수준이 낮아지며, 결과적으로 스마트폰 과의존이 더 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과들을 중심으로 본 연구의 의의와 상담 현장에 대한 시사점을 논의하였으며, 제한점 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the sequential mediating effects of socially prescribed perfectionism and career decision-making level in the relationship between parental psychological control and smartphone overdependence among university students. To this end, a self-report online survey was conducted with university students using validated scales measuring paternal and maternal psychological control, smartphone overdependence, socially prescribed perfectionism, and career decision-making level. Data from 300 respondents were analyzed using SPSS 29.0 and AMOS 30.0 through a structural equation modeling(SEM) approach. The main findings of the study are as follows. First, socially prescribed perfectionism was found to mediate the relationship between perceived paternal and maternal psychological control and smartphone overdependence. In other words, higher levels of both paternal and maternal psychological control were associated with increased socially prescribed perfectionism in students, which in turn led to higher levels of smartphone overdependence. Second, the level of career decision-making did not mediate the relationship between parental psychological control and smartphone overdependence. Third, a significant sequential mediation effect was identified: parental psychological control increased socially prescribed perfectionism, which subsequently lowered the level of career decision-making, ultimately resulting in greater smartphone overdependence. Based on these results, the theoretical implications and practical significance for counseling interventions were discussed, along with the limitations of this study and suggestions for future studies.
