초록/요약
Marine environment is where a variety of contaminants are lastly accumulated. Especially, one of the fatal contaminants, heavy metals, are well-known to make serious environmental and human-health problem. Even though there were many trials to reduce heavy metals in marine environment and its toxicity, the limits were evident due to some fatal drawbacks. We developed in-situ capping method by taking advantages of the biological capping materials. Sulfate reducing bacteria(SRB) superior to stabilize heavy metals was immobilized on the zeolite surface as capping materials. We assessed the remediation properties using heavy metals sequential extraction and checked its potential for heavy metals stabilization in the various conditions.
