본 연구는 부모와의 심리적 미독립이 대학생의 대인관계문제에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 자기 불확실성과 불안이 매개효과를 가지는지 알아보기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 대학교에 재학 중인 남녀 대학생 320명(N=320)을 대상으로 수집된 자기보고 설문지 자료를 분석하였다. SPSS 18.0 프로그램과 AMOS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 부모와의 심리적 미독립이 대학생의 대인관계문제에 영향을 미치는 과정에 자기 불확실성과 불안의 이중 완전 매개효과를 가정한 경로구조모형과 자기 불확실성이 대인관계문제에 직접적인 영향도 미치는 부분 매개모형인 대안모형의 적합도를 비교 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 부모로부터의 분리-개별화, 자기 불확실성, 불안, 대인관계문제는 성별에 따라 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 여자 대학생이 남자 대학생에 비해 분리-개별화, 자기 불확실성, 불안, 대인관계문제 모두를 더 높게 지각했다. 둘째, 구조방정식 분석 결과 부분 매개모형의 적합도가 더 좋은 것으로 나타났다. 부모로부터의 분리-개별화의 정도로 측정된 부모와의 심리적 미독립 상태가 높을수록 자기 불확실성이 높고, 불안이 증가되며, 대인관계문제가 발생할 가능성이 높아지는 경로와 부모로부터의 분리-개별화에 어려움이 있을 때, 자기 불확실성이 증가하고 대인관계문제가 높아지는 경로가 유의미하게 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 대학생의 분리-개별화로 측정된 부모와의 심리적 미독립이 대인관계문제에 미치는 영향에 관련 연구를 확장했고, 대인관계문제를 호소하는 대학생의 상담 방향을 설정하기 위한 기초 자료를 제시한 의의가 있다. 본 연구의 제한점과 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의에 포함하였다. 주요어: 부모와의 심리적 미독립, 자기 불확실성, 불안, 대학생의 대인관계문제

Psychological Dependency and Interpersonal Relationship Problems of College Students: The mediating effect role of self-uncertainty and anxiety Department of Psychology The Graduate School of Sogang University Hana Oh The present study proposed that the relationship between psychological dependency and interpersonal relationship problems among college students is mediated by self-uncertainty and trait anxiety. Results were analyzed based on self-report questionnaires from a sample of 320 undergraduate students using the SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. Results indicated that there was a significant gender difference, with female students reporting greater level of separation-individuation, self-uncertainty, anxiety, and interpersonal relationship problems. The results from the structural equation modeling indicted that the psychological dependency measured by separation-individuation significantly influencing the level of self-uncertainty, which, in turn, partially mediated interpersonal relationship problems by increasing trait anxiety, had good fit indices. Current findings add to the extent literature on the effect of psychological dependency, self-uncertainty, and trait anxiety in interpersonal problem among college students. Clinical implications and limitations of the present study as well as suggestions for future study were also included in the discussion.
