이 논문은 R^3의 Euclidean metric을 R^3에서의 C∞ 함수 들을 통하여 적절히 Deform한 Riemannian metric이 원점 주변의 한 compact set에서는 negative scalar curvature 를 지니고 그 외부에서는 flat하도록 하는 연구를 수행하였 다.
