초록 (요약문)
본 연구는 스타트업의 성공과 스케일업에 있어 액셀러레이터의 역할이 매우 중요하다고 보고 있으며, 액셀러레이터의 성공 전략은 스타트업 생태계에 기 여할 뿐만 아니라 기존의 액셀러레이터에게도 중요한 역할을 한다고 본다. 이에 따라 스타트업의 성공을 이끄는 액셀러레이터의 성공 조건을 도출하는 데에 있어 단순히 조건을 분석하는데에 그치지 않고 이를 체계화해 실무적으로 액셀러레이터들의 성공을 위해 적용 가능한 전략적 프레임워크를 제시하려고 한다. 이를 위해 액셀러레이터 활동을 하는 많은 업체들 중 업계 리더로서 시장의 1위를 하는 기업을 주요 사례로 채택해 분석함으로써 국내 액셀러레이터 산업 의 질적 성장을 도모하고 국내 스타트업 생태계 경쟁력 강화에 기여하고자 한 다. 본 연구는 액셀러레이터의 성공 조건을 도출하기 위해 다음의 질문에 대해 기존 문헌연구를 통해 검증해 나가면서 결론을 도출하였다. 우선 액셀러레이터가 스타트업 성공에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는지에 대해 국내외 논문을 분석 하였다. 이어 스타트업이 성공하기 위한 조건이 무엇인지를 분석했고, 액셀러 레이터가 스타트업에 지원할 수 있는 역할이 어떠한 것들이 있는지 분석했다. 이러한 질문에 대한 문헌 연구를 토대로 본 연구에서는 액셀러레이터의 성 공 조건으로 5C 키워드를 도출해 키스톤 5C 모델로 정의하였다. 키스톤 5C는 Consultation(컨설테이션), Capacity(역량), Concentration(몰입), Colloaboration(협력), 핵심가치(Core value)로 구성되며, 액셀러레이터가 스타트업 생태계에서 수행하는 핵심 기능을 종합적으로 설명한다. 본 연구는 이 5C 모델을 바탕으로 액셀러레이터의 역할을 체계적으로 분석하고, 스타트업 생태계 발전을 위한 시사점을 도출하고자 한다.

This study considers the role of accelerators to be crucial to the success and scale-up of startups, and the success strategies of accelerators not only contribute to the startup ecosystem but also play an important role for existing accelerators. Therefore, in deriving the success conditions of accelerators that lead to the success of startups, we will not only analyze the conditions, but also systematize them and present a strategic framework that can be applied to the success of accelerators in practice. To this end, we adopted and analyzed a company that is a leader in the market among many accelerator companies as the main case to promote the qualitative growth of the domestic accelerator industry and contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of the domestic startup ecosystem. In order to derive the success conditions of accelerators, this study answers the following questions and draws conclusions based on the existing literature. First, we analyzed domestic and foreign papers on whether accelerators have a positive impact on startup success. Then, we analyzed the conditions for startups to succeed and what role accelerators can play in supporting startups. Based on the literature study on these questions, this study derived 5C keywords as the success conditions of accelerators and defined them as the Keystone 5C model. The Keystone 5Cs consist of Consultation, Capacity, Concentration, Colloaboration, and Core value, and comprehensively describe the core functions that accelerators perform in the startup ecosystem. Based on this 5C model, this study systematically analyzes the role of accelerators and draws implications for the development of startup ecosystems.
