초록 (요약문)
This thesis deals with the nominal structure of Eastern Tamang concerning both syntactic and semantic restrictions. Specifically, this thesis shows how grammatical items such as an adjective, numeral classifier, plural morpheme, demonstrative, and possessor are all intertwined within a single projection. After handling the syntactic structure, the thesis tackles how the semantic composition takes place. In Chapter 3, the NP/DP parameter is applied to identify the maximal projection of the nominal phrase. In Chapter 4, the structure building embarks on, from the bottom of the tree. Under the purview of generative grammar, the aforementioned grammatical items are taken into account in structuring the nominal phrase in Eastern Tamang.

본 논문은 타망어의 전체적인 명사구 구조를 통사적으로 파악하고, 그에 따른 의미합성을 목표로 한다.즉, 명사구 내부에 있는 다양한 문법적 표지들을 고려하여 그들이 각각 통사부내에 어떤 상호작용을하며 구조화 되어 있는 지 파악하고, 각각의 문법범주들의 의미적 합성 관계를 고려한다. 먼저 3장에서는 타망어의 NP/DP 파라미터를 적용하여, 최대투사범주를 결정한다. 4장에서는 파라미터에서 도출한 결과를 바탕으로 수형도 기준, 아래에 놓인 맨명사구(NP)부터 형용사구, 복수접미사, 분류사구, 지시사구, 소유주 구문까지 생성문법의 관점에서 다양한 통사적 제약과 의미합성을 고려하여, 타망어 명사구구조를 파악한다.
