초록 (요약문)

This paper shows how both the Hungarian and Korean film industries encountered similar challenges in their historical development, but the reactions were opposite and led to different results. The purpose of this research is to compare the critiques of the capitalist system in Hungarian and Korean films, and to determine what factors contribute to the existence of any potential differences. The present research paper addresses this important topic, and aims to compare the criticisms of the capitalist system in Hungarian and Korean films, thus seeking a better understanding of the differences between the two. As a result, the following research question is proposed to guide the current project: What are the different factors and facets used by Hungarian and Korean films in the criticism of the capitalist system? These findings imply that the main difference in the capitalism analysis in Korean and Hungarian films can be explained by the social and political differences and influences belonging to each country.
