초록/요약
2015 년 기준 한-베트남 FTA 발효 이후 4 년간 양국 교역액은 연평균 16% 증가하는 추세를 보였다. 베트남은 메가 FTA 인 CPTPP 발효와 더불어 베트남EU FTA 체결을 앞두고 있어 최근 FTA 허브국으로서의 역할이 더욱 커질 것으로 기대된다. 또한 한-베트남 FTA 발효를 통해 한국은 생산 및 수출이 증대됐고, 베트남은 사회 후생 수준이 개선된 양상을 나타내고 있다. 이는 양국 모두 전반적으로 경제 활성화 효과를 기대할 수 있음을 시사한다. 본 논문에서는 한-베트남 FTA 발효에 따른 양국의 긍정적, 부정적 경제효과 및 파급 영향에 대해 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 양국의 경제 규모 및 산업구조, 소득수준에서의 격차를 고려한 기존 연구 결과를 정리하고, 실제 통계자료에 계량 기법을 적용하여 체계적 실증분석을 수행한다.

In the four years since the Korea-Vietnam FTA came into effect as of 2015, the trade value of countries has tended to increase by an average of 16 percent annually. Vietnam is expected to play a greater role as an FTA hub country, with the Mega FTA CPTPP coming into effect and the conclusion of the Vietnam-EU FTA. The effectuation of the Korea-Vietnam FTA has resulted in increased production and exports in South Korea and improved social welfare levels in Vietnam. This suggests that both countries can expect the effects of conomic revitalization in general. In this paper, we will analyze the positive and negative economic effects and ripple effects of the Korea-Vietnam FTA. To this end, the government will organize existing research results that take into account differences in economic scale, industrial structure, and income level between the two countries and apply metering techniques to actual statistical data for a systematic empirical analysis.
