초록/요약
The purpose of the present study was to investigate the influence of evaluative concerns perfectionism on social anxiety and to determine the mediating role of self-esteem and self-concept clarity. Data based on selfreport questionnaires from a sample of 324 undergraduate and graduate students were analyzed using the SPSS 21.0 and the Amos 20.0. Results from the structural equation modeling indicated that the effect of evaluative concerns perfectionism on social anxiety was fully mediated by self-esteem and selfconcept clarity. In addition, the relationship between evaluative concerns perfectionism and social anxiety was sequentially mediated by self-esteem and self-concept clarity. Implications of current findings regarding intervention strategies for clients with evaluative concerns perfectionism were discussed. Limitations of current study as well as suggestions for future study were included in the discussion.

본 연구에서는 대학생의 평가염려 완벽주의와 사회불안의 관계에서 자존감과 자기개념 명확성의 매개효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울 및 경상도 소재의 대학교 및 대학원에 재학 중인 남녀 대학생 및 대학원생 총 324명을 대상으로 평가염려 완벽주의, 사회불안, 자존감 및 자기개념 명확성을 측정하는 설문지를 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 평가염려 완벽주의는 자기개념 명확성, 사회불안과는 정적 상관을, 자존감과는 부적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 평가염려 완벽주의와 사회불안의 관계에서 자존감과 자기개념 명확성 각각의 완전 매개 효과가 확인되었다. 셋째, 자존감과 자기개념 명확성은 평가염려 완벽주의와 사회불안과의 관계를 순차적으로 이중 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 사회불안에 중요하게 영향을 미치는 자기 개념을 매개변인으로 하여 평가염려 완벽주의가 사회불안에 영향을 주는 구체적 경로를 확인하였다는데 의의가 있다. 마지막으로 연구의 제한점 및 후속연구에 대한 제언에 대해 논의하였다.
