초록/요약
Platinum nanoparticles play vital role in catalytic oxidation, such as catalytic reforming, hydrogen evolution, complete combustion, and fuel cell. Such a process entails the oxidation and reduction of platinum catalyst. The study was done in chemical point of view [1-3] in various way yet, above catalytic process in strain dynamics view was not conducted. In this study, we measured internal strain development of Pt nanocrystals under hydrogen peroxide decomposition process. We performed in situ time resolved Bragg coherent diffraction imaging with Pt nanoparticles using liquid flow cell with flow adjustable pump. Pt nanoparticles are grown in Al2O3 substrate by dewetting method. The result shows change in internal phase map as well as oscillatory response of platinum nanoparticles during H2O2 contact. We expect this work gives important clue of the understanding of the evolution of internal strain field of Pt nanoparticle during H2O2 decomposition process which are one of the important oxidation catalytic reactions. This clue can help to design efficient nanoparticle and to understand degradation process during oxidation reaction.
