초록/요약
Induction heating is the process of heating an electrically conducting object (usually a metal) by electromagnetic induction, through heat generated in the object by eddy currents. Since main advantage of the induction heating device is that the heat is generated inside the target object itself, the non-contact and safe heating device has been widely used in many industrial and medical fields. Recently, a new dental implant system has been developed using shape-memory alloy, where an artificial tooth can be easily removed from the dental implant by heating. In this paper, we develop an induction heating device to remove the dental crown in the new implant system, Firstly, we implement the finite element simulation of electromagnetic and thermal coupling analysis to get the temperatere distributions of the target object for various frequencies, input currents and coil shapes. Based on the simulation results, we implement experiments using prototypes and develop an induction heating device to remove the dental crown from the implant.
