자폐스펙트럼 장애 아동의 부모 교육 프로그램 개발

초록/요약
본 연구는 자폐스펙트럼 장애 아동의 부모 교육 프로그램을 개발하고, 그 프로그램이 부모의 양육 스트레스와 양육 행동, 양육 효능감, 심리적 안녕감, 부부 만족도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구에 사용된 프로그램은 선행 연구를 참조로 본 연구의 연구자에 의해 개발 및 실시 되었다. 연구 대상은 자폐스펙트럼 장애 아동을 자녀로 둔 어머니 또는 아버지로 총 8명이었다. 3주 간 총 6회기의 부모 교육 프로그램과 1회의 추수 지원에 참여하였다. 연구 결과, 자폐스펙트럼 장애 아동의 부모를 위한 교육 프로그램은 부모의 양육스트레스와 부정적 양육 행동을 감소시키고, 긍정적 양육 행동과 양육 효능감, 심리적 안녕감, 부부 만족도를 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 참가자들은 프로그램 참여를 통해 자폐스펙트럼 자녀와 정상 발달 자녀에 대한 긍정적 경험을 하였고, 부부 관계가 개선되었으며 참가자 자신도 자녀의 장애를 수용하고 자녀의 장애에 대한 죄책감을 덜게 되는 효과를 경험한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 자폐스펙트럼 장애 아동 부모를 대상으로 특정하여 프로그램을 개발했다는 점과 자폐스펙트럼 장애 아동의 행동 중재에 대한 부모 교육 프로그램이 대부분이었던 기존의 연구 동향과 달리 부모와 가족의 어려움을 다루는 통합적인 프로그램을 구성하였다는 점, 그리고 비교적 단기적으로 실시된 프로그램임에도 불구하고 효과가 검증되었다는 점에 의의가 있다. 마지막으로, 자폐스펙트럼 장애 아동의 부모 교육 프로그램을 널리 실시하고 프로그램을 정교화하기 위한 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 제공하였다.

The purpose of this study was to develop the parent education program for Autism Spectrum Disorder and, to examine the effects of the program on parenting stress, parent behavior, parenting efficacy, psychological well-being and marital satisfaction. Parent education program used in this study, is developed and instituted by researcher of this study. For the purpose of this study, 8 parents who have ASD children were recruited. They participated in a parent education program for 3 weeks, 6 sessions. The results of this study were as follows. First, in parenting stress, parenting behavior, parenting efficacy, psychological well-being and marital satisfaction significant differences were found between pre-program and post-program. This indicated that parenting stresses, negative parenting behavior are diminished and positive parenting behavior, parenting efficacy, psychological well-being and marital satisfaction are increased. Second, Participants went through changes during this program. Clinical implications and limitations of the study were discussed for future researches.
