초록/요약
Due to the recent increase in stent insertion procedures, the number of studies evaluating the mechanical behaviors of stents, such as the deformation and stress states, using finite element analysis is gradually increasing. However, a systematic stent design approach has not yet been established. Therefore, in this study, the Taguchi method was used to devise an optimal stent design based on unit models of various patterns, and a new design approach was developed to overcome the limitations of conventional design methods. The stent manufactured using the new design approach was verified using experiments that demonstrated good flexibility and a lack of interference between the cells, as well as a large radial force.
