초록/요약
본 연구는 늘어나는 노인인구의 문제점에 대한 대책 등을 마련했던 일반적인 기존 연구들로부터 한 발 더 나아가, 그들의 성공적인 노화에 대한 요인이 무엇인지, 어떤 요인들이 성공적인 노화에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는지를 검증하였다. 이에, 부천시 노인일자리사업 참여자를 대상으로 하여 노인일자리사업 참여요인과 성공적 노화의 관계에 대하여 살펴보고, 성공적 노화에 영향을 미치는 노인일자리사업 참여 요인을 확인하여 정책적인 함의를 제언하고자 한다. 연구모형을 검증하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 부천시에 거주하며 노인일자리사업에 참여하고 있는 노인을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 그 중 통계적으로 분석가치가 있는 231명의 설문지를 최종 분석 자료로 사용했다. 통계처리방법으로 SPSS. 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, 일원변량분석(ANOVA), 상관분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였고 이를 통해 연구가설을 검증하였다. 본 연구의 주요 내용과 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인일자리사업 참여자의 일반적 특징을 보면 70-79세의 연령대와 여성의 비율이 높았으며, 동거상태로는 노부부 동거의 비율이 가장 높았다. 둘째, 부천시 노인들이 일자리사업에 참여한 가장 큰 동기는 경제적 요인 때문이었으며, 일자리사업 참여 후 여러 요인 중 경제적 요인에서 가장 긍정적인 효과가 나타났다. 즉, 노인들은 경제적 욕구에 의해 노인일자리사업에 참여하게 되었으며, 노인일자리사업 참여를 통해 그들의 경제적인 욕구는 충족될 수 있었던 것이다. 셋째, 전반적으로 노인일자리사업에 참여한 노인들은 참여 후 긍정적인 변화를 경험하였으나 다른 유형보다는 특히 복지형 사업에 참여한 노인들에게서 성공적인 노화에 대한 변화가 가장 크게 나타났다. 이상과 같은 검증결과를 통해 본 연구가 갖는 결론 및 함의를 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 노인일자리사업에는 다양한 개인적 욕구를 가진 노인들이 참여하고 있다. 수행기관에서는 이러한 노인들의 욕구를 제대로 충족시킬 수 있는 전문인력을 양성하고, 노인들의 능력과 욕구에 맞는 다양한 일자리를 창출하기 위해 공모와 같은 여러 가지 방법들을 고안해야 할 것이다. 둘째, 노인일자리사업을 통해 얻는 월 20만원의 인건비는 노인들에게 현실적인 경제적 자립의 대안이 될 수 없다. 이에 일자리 유형과 형태에 따라 외부에서 소득을 창출해 지원할 수 있는 방안들을 모색해야 한다. 예를 들어 수요처에서 활동비 혹은, 서비스비용 등의 지원을 받아 노인들의 인건비를 현실화하는 방안을 생각해 볼 수 있다. 셋째, 노인일자리사업의 여러 유형 중 복지형사업이 타 유형에 비해 노인들의 성공적인 노화에 가장 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 복지형사업의 업무가 노인들에게 가장 큰 보람과 자부심을 안겨주기 때문이다. 따라서 수행기관은 복지형사업을 여타 다양한 노인일자리사업의 유형에 접목시키도록 노력해야한다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 고찰한 연구의 의의는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 현 시점에서 고령사회의 해결방안으로써 노인일자리사업의 영향력은 더욱 확대될 것이다. 이러한 상황에서 저자는 노인일자리사업의 참여요인이 성공적인 노화에 미치는 영향을 부천지역 최초로 검증하여 노인의 긍정적인 노화의 방안을 실천적으로 모색할 수 있는 계기를 마련했다. 둘째, 다양한 주제의 노인일자리사업 연구의 필요성이 제기되는 시점에서 저자가 선구적으로 복지형사업에서의 성공적 노화를 돕는 요인을 발견해 제시하였다는 점에서 본 연구의 의의가 있다고 할 수 있겠다.

This study verifies which one is the factor of successful aging and how the factors positively affect successful aging, as well as develops measures to deal with increasing aging population that is dealt in existing studies. I hereby propose policy implications after examining the relationship between the factors of participating in the elderly work program and successful aging, and identifying which factors affect successful aging by looking at participants joining Bucheon elderly work program. Survey of the elderly living in Bucheon and joining the elderly work program was conducted to verify the study model, and 231 valuable questionnaires in the statistics were used for final analysis. Research hypothesis was verified through frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, ANOVA, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis by using SPSS. 18.0 program for statistical treatment. The staple contents and result of this study are summarized as below. First, generally the people at the age of seventies, female and old couple ratio was high in joining the elderly work program. Second, the motive for Bucheon elderly people’s joining work program was economic factor, and it had a great effect on economic factor after joining the program. In other words, they joined the elderly work program with economic desire and met their desire by joining the program. Third, the old people who joined the elderly work program experienced positive changes in general, and the huge change about successful aging was found in the old people who joined welfare-type of the work program. By verification as mentioned above, the result and implication of this study are suggested as below. First, the old people who join the elderly work program have various personal desires, so the related organizations should cultivate professionals who can satisfy the old people’s desires and create various jobs by the old people’s abilities and desires in various ways like public contest and so on. Second, with 200,000 won per month as the incomes in the elderly work program, the old people can not become economically independent in real life. Hence, the ways like generating incomes from the outside and supporting the elderly according to the job’s type should be considered. For example, after taking some activity and service cost from demanders, the organizations can support the fund for the old people as substantial labour costs. Third, welfare-type program was proven to have the biggest influence on successful aging for the old people among the elderly work programs. It means the old people who work in the welfare-type program feels fruitful and prides the most among those programs, so the welfare-type program should be grafted onto other type programs. With these results, the significances of the study can be listed as below. First, the elderly work program will be expanded as a solution of the aged society. In this time, I first verified in Bucheon area how the factors of participating in the elderly work program have influence on successful aging, and it can help to find a way of successful aging for old people. Second, this study is meaningful in that, as playing a leading role, it finds and suggests the factors which help successful aging in the welfare-type program at the time when the need for various kinds of studies about the elderly work program grows.
