초록/요약
오늘날 성과 생명에 대한 왜곡된 시선과 태도는 도처에 만연해 있다. 성과 생명에 대한 왜곡된 시선과 태도의 회복은 인간 생명의 출발점에서 성(性)과 생명(生命)의 의미를 재 숙고함으로써 그 해결점을 찾아볼 수 있을 것이다. 요한 바오로 2세의 『몸의 신학』에서 바라본 성의 의미는 이러한 과제를 해결할 전망을 제시한다. 따라서 본 연구는 『몸의 신학』에서 본 성의 의미를 탐구한다. 『몸의 신학』에서 본 시원적(始原的),역사적(歷史的),종말론적(終末論的)인 몸의 체험을 따라가며, 결혼과 하늘나라를 위한 독신(동정)의 삶 안에서 몸이 지닌 혼인적 의미를 성소(聖召)의 측면에서 분석한다. 주제들 안에 일관되게 흐르는 윤리적 토대는 요한 바오로 2세의 인격주의다. 요한 바오로 2세의 인격주의는 십자가의 성 요한의 삼위일체 인격주의에 뿌리를 둔다. 성교육은 단순히 생물학적 지식의 접근이나 피임식 혹은 성폭력을 예방하는 차원을 넘어 인격을 지닌 한 남자와 여자가 어떻게 서로 진실하게 사랑하며 자신의 삶을 충만하게 실현할 수 있는지 제시할 수 있어야 한다. 그러한 측면에서 요한 바오로 2세의 『몸의 신학』의 가르침은 성교육 프로그램인 틴스타안에서,특별히 “총체적인 성” 프로그램 안에서,그 가치관과 영성으로 성과 생명에 대한 새로운 전망을 열어 보일 것이다. “총체적인 성”프로그램을 통해 요한 바오로 2세의『몸의 신학』에서 제시하는 성과 생명의 의미를 전달함으로써, 젊은이들로 하여금 자신의 몸이 담고 있는 혼인적 의미를 발견하게 하고, 진실로 인간다운 모습으로 서로 사랑하며, 자신의 삶을 실현하도록 돕게 된다. 따라서 본 연구는 실천적인 면을 도출하려는 시도다. 성교육(틴스타)의 다양한 주제 안에 『몸의 신학』은 분리되어 있지 않다.『몸의 신학』은 궁극적이며 본질적인 인간에 대한 성찰이기 때문이다. 때문에 본 연구는 『몸의 신학』이 사랑의 교육인 성교육이라는 통로를 통해 젊은이들을 건강하고 책임감 있는 성인으로 성장하도록 적용 가능성을 확인하는 의미 있는 학문적 작업이라고 확신한다.

It is not difficult, today, to find distorted views on sexuality and life. These distortions of views and attitudes towards sexuality and life could be overcome by regenerating the meaning of sexuality and life as the beginning of human life. The meaning of sexuality projected in A Theology of the Body by Pope John PaulⅡ is significant in search of solutions to such task and therefore, this study will research on the meaning of sexuality in the light of A Theology of the Body of Pope John PaulⅡ. It analyzes the nuptial meaning of the body in marriage and celibacy for the Kingdom expecially in its aspectas vocation, by reflecting on the original, historical and eschatological body experiences in A Theology of the Body. Consistent ethical background of this subject is Pope John Paul's personalism, which is rooted from the Trinitarian Personalism (Carmelite Personalism) of St.John of the Cross. Sexuality teaching program should be something to enlighten people how they can lead their life in contentment in a loving relationship between man and woman having his/her own personality, beyond the measure to teach preventive ways including contraception and activities against sexual violence based simply on biological knowledge and approach. In this sense, the teachings from A Theology of the Body of Pope Jone Paul II will, through the values and spirit, show a new perspective on sexuality and life within the sexuality teaching program likeTeenSTAR-specially within 'holistic sexuality' Program. By delivering meanings of sexuality and life derived from A Theology of the Body of Pope John PaulⅡ through the 'holistic sexuality' program, youths will learn the nuptial meaning of their body, through which they will themselves realize their life in their truthful and loving relationships. A Theology of the Body cannot be segregated from various subjects of TeenSTAR. It is because A Theology of the Body is reflecting on the most profound and substantial human nature.Therefore, this study is meaningful in that this testifies adaptability of A Theology of the Body to help young people grow up as healthful and responsible adults through the channel like sexuality teaching, teaching about love.
