초록/요약
본 연구는 인간 사회에 중요한 역할을 차지하고 있는 리더십에 대하여 그리스도교 관점에서 신학적 성찰을 시도하였다. 왜냐하면 빠른 변화와 발전으로 인한 정신적 상실감이 혼전((混戰) 되고 있는 현대 사회에서 새로운 스타일의 리더십이 요구되고 있으며, 이러한 요구에 영적 리더십이 부상하고 있기 때문이다. 그래서 영적 리더십이 현대의 영성을 바탕으로 하는 바람직한 리더십으로 제시될 수 있는가를 모색해보고자 김수환 추기경의 리더십을 그 사례로 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 첫째, 조직에서 영적 리더십 이론의 형성과정에서 토대가 되는 일반적 리더십 이론들을 알아보았다. 둘째, 그리스도교적 관점에서 영적 리더십에 대한 개념, 구성, 연구 경향을 조사하였다. 셋째, 현대적 의미에서 영적 리더십의 발전과정을 살펴보기 위하여, 그리스도교적 관점과 현대에서 영성의 개념을 비교하였다. 넷째, 조직행동론에서 말하는 영적리더십에 대한 연구경향을 알아보고 그 이론에 대해 프라이(Fry)의 인과모델을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 마지막으로, 교회의 리더십 모델로 고(故) 김수환 추기경의 영적 리더십에 대해 살펴보면서 교회가 나아가야 할 방향성을 생각해보고자 했다

We study and reflect theologically on the leadership which has a critical role in the contemporary society. As it seeks a new type of leadership model, we believe that the concept of the spiritual leadership might contribute in this age of spiritual and mental loss due to its rapid change and development. We examine whether the spiritual leadership be a relevant notion in this respect, and we apply its theory to the case of Cardinal Stephen Kim Sou-Hwan's leadership role in Korean contemporary society. To do this, First we overview different theories of organizational leadership as a basis for the development of the theory of spiritual leadership. Second, we will study the fundamental notion of spiritual leadership, its composition, and the recent trends on the study of spiritual leadership. Third, we compare and contrast the different usages of the term spirituality in order to highlight the process of recent development of its theoretical basis. Fourth, we review the current theories of organizational spiritual leadership, especially based on Fry's casual model of spiritual leadership. Finally, as we examine the case of the late Cardinal Stephen Kim Sou-Hwan's spiritual leadership, we do a theological reflection on the future orientation of the Korean Catholic Church in our contemporary society.
