초록/요약
시각장애인들에게 보행을 보조할 목적으로 설치된 점자블록에 실내공간에서의 현재 위치를 파악 할 수 있는 RFID 기술을 결합한 점자블록을 네트워크 모델의 요소로 제시하고, 제안된 네트워크 모델에 기반한 선호 경로 탐색 알고리즘을 적용하여, 시각장애인의 특성에 맞는 선호 경로를 제공하고자 한다.

Visual impairment or low vision is a severe reduction in vision that cannot be corrected with standard glasses or contact lenses and reduces a person's ability to function at certain or all tasks. Orientation and mobility for visually impaired people are very difficult, especially in environments unknown or not designed with assistive purposes. In modern Welfare States, for guaranteeing autonomous living and social inclusion of blind and partially sighted people, independent mobility is an important objective to achieve. Most of preceding study in path finding for the visually impaired people is only to avoid front of their obstacle. They do not suggest network model that is used to provide assistance and guidance in unfamiliar indoor environments. Even if they provide indoor network model, that is not to useful for visually impaired people, but only normal people. In respect with some of these weaknesses, this study adopt one of Indoor network model element, the raised block with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology may represent a viable way to overcome them. I propose the indoor network model for visually impaired people and provide preference path finding algorithm based this network model.
