초록/요약
키랄성을 가지는 화합물인 (R,R)-diphenylethylenediamine(DPEN)으로부터 높은 입체장해를 가지는 N-헤테로고리카빈 전구체를 합성하였다. 합성된 N-헤테로고리카빈 전구체로 카빈 리간드를 만들고 이것을 리간드로 이용하여 금속 착물을 합성하여, 1-bromo-1-phenylacetonitrile의 비대칭화 반응을 수행하였다. 거울성 이성질체 선택성은 비교적 낮은 결과를 보였다.

Highly hindered N-heterocyclic carbene precursors were synthesized from a chiral compound, (R,R)-diphenylethylene-diamine (DPEN). N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) were synthesized by using the precursors, and used to synthesize metal complexes as ligand, NHC-metal complexes were applied to deracemization of 1-bromo-1-phenylacetonitrile. As results, relatively low enantioselectivities were acquired.
