초록/요약
Many enterprises have been devoting a significant portion of their budget to product development in order to distinguish their products from those of their competitors and to make them better fit the needs and wants of customers. Hence, businesses should develop product designing that could satisfy the customers’ requirements since this will increase the enterprise’s competitiveness and it is an essential criterion to earning higher loyalties and profits. This paper presents the product rules obtained from data mining results, which investigates the relationships among customer demands and product characteristics. To solve the described problems, this research applies methodology of the association rule and decision tree for data mining to analyze the customer’s preference from different product characteristics combination of current market. Accordingly, this paper suggests that the digital camera enterprise should extract customer information from the demand side and use this as a resource to design new products.
