초록/요약
We have designed new spiro-fluorene derived OLED molecules which have thiophene or stilbene in their cores. Prior to the syntheses, we have investigated their synthetic routes as well as their structural and electrical properties using quantum mechanical calculations. Among several candidates, we have decided to synthesize mb7, mb7-A, mb7-B, 2, 3, and 4. We successfully synthesized four target molecules (mb7-A, mb7-B, 2, 3) and investigated their photophysical properties. These molecules are expected to be used as EML materials in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) which require high-efficiencies and extended durabilities.
