The mismatch between a worker''s education and job is important economic issue for allocation of resources in the country. So the mismatch between a worker''s education and job has received much attention in the literature. But much research has been performed on the mismatch between worker education and job, with the focus on the relationship between the years of schooling required for jobs and completed schooling. The quantity of schooling is only one way to consider the mismatch between schooling and jobs. And the quantity of schooling has a limit in the conditions that the ratio of students who go on to university is over 80%. Therefore the quantity of schooling is not efficient way.

This paper examines the mismatch between a worker''s schooling and job by considering whether the field of study in college is related to the current job. Especially, we examine to determine which degree fields are associated with being mismatched and wage effects to being mismatched by using Korean Survey. So we verify that the mismatch between schooling and jobs is wage decision factor.
