부인가능 인증은 새로운 암호학적 인증 프로토콜이며 지정된 수신자에게 주어진 메시지가 누구로부터 전해진 것인지 확인 할 수 있게 하면서 동시에 수신자가 누구인지를 제 3자에게 증명 할 수 없도록 하는 프로토콜이다. 부인가능 인증은 다양하게 실직적으로 유용한 상황에 적용될 수 있다. 처음 부인가능 인증이 제안된 이후로 다양한 프로토콜들이 소개되었다. 암호학적 임계치의 기본 개념은 비밀 정보의 분산과 다중 구성원간의 계산을 통해 한 구성원의 권한의 오용이나 남용을 예방하는 것이다 본 논문에서는 ID-기반 임계치 부인가능 인증을 제안한다. 이 프로토콜은 일정한 임계치 이상의 구성원들에 의해 메시지가 인증이 되었을 때 그것이 그 구성원들이 속한 그룹의 인증으로써 효력을 가진다.

Deniable Authentication protocol, a special cryptographic authentication protocol allows the receiver to identify the source of a given message but not to prove the identity of the sender to a third party. Deniable authentication can be adopted to a multiplicity of useful situation. Since the first deniable authentication was introduced, several such schemes have been proposed. The idea of threshold cryptography is to distribute the secret information (i.e.,a secret key) and computation (i.e., decryption or signature generation) among multi parties in order to prevent a single point of failure or abuse. In this thesis we propose a ID-based Threshold Deniable Authentication. This protocol works as a deniable authentication of the group when the number of members who agreed on the message is over the threshold.
