The reaction of a chiral aziridine-2-carboxaldehyde and various chiral borane reagents provided stereoselective allylation and crotylation products. Using this methodology, we studied the synthesis of MeBmt which is the only C9 amino acid of the immunosuppressive drug cyclosporine

Aziridine-2-carboxaldehyde와 여러 가지 chiral borane reagents를 반응시켜 stereoselective allylation 과 crotylation을 수행하였으며 이를 응용하여 immunosuppressive drug인 cyclosporin의 유일한 C9 amino acid인 MeBmt의 합성을 시도하였다.
