초록/요약
본고의 목적은 탈식민주의적인 시각을 견지하면서 최인훈 문학세계 전반을 바라보고, 최인훈 문학세계를 재조명하는 데에 있다. 소설가인 동시에 극작가이기도 한 최인훈의 문학세계는 사실 장르 간의 차이로 인해 한 작가의 작품임에도 불구하고 분리되어서 연구되어 왔다. 본고는 최인훈 문학의 탈식민성을 규정하면서 소설과 희곡 장르 모두를 아우르고 있다. 최인훈의 문학세계를 특징짓기 위해서는 최인훈의 소설텍스트로만 한정지을 수 없었고 또한 최인훈 문학세계에서 장르 간의 이동 경위에 따라서 그의 문학세계가 변화되는 양상을 보이기 때문에 결코 간과할 수 없는 지점이기도 하였다. 최인훈의 문학세계를 규명하기 위해서는 장르의 이동과 탈식민성 사이에서 벌어지는 미세한 변화들을 읽어내야 했다. 그 변화 지점들을 각각의 장으로 나눠서 인물형상화 와 목소리 를 통해 탈식민성을 규명했다. 최인훈의 소설과 희곡에서 각각의 인물들은 지식인과 민중으로 차별되게 나타나고 있지만 그 둘의 역할은 계몽적인 서사를 위한 하나의 전략적 인물이었다. 계몽의 서사는 이미 그 기획 단계에서부터 제국주의적 폭력성을 기반으로 한다. 따라서, 최인훈의 소설과 희곡에 공통적으로 녹아있는 관념성은 이러한 인물을 공통적으로 내세운 까닭에서 연유한다 이러한 지식인 인물의 관념성이 독자의 흥미를 방해함에도 불구하고 최인훈 문학세계에서 중요한 이유는 그들의 비판정신 때문이다. 지식인 인물의 관념을 형상화하는데 역점을 둔 그의 문학은 우리 사회에서 이상적인 지식인의 모습을 예리하게 그려내고 있으며 경계 지식인 으로서의 면모를 제대로 보여주고 있기 때문에 가치가 있다. 또한 더불어 최인훈 문학의 탈식민성을 규명할 수 있는 또 다른 하나는 중심화 되지 못하는 목소리에 있다. 최인훈의 소설과 희곡에는 각각의 입장들을 대변하기 위한 장치들의 사용이 빈번하다. 그것은 주로 라디오 확성기 마이크 소리 등과 같이 청각적인 요소만을 필요로 하는 장치들이다. 본고에서는 이러한 장치들의 사용에 주목하여 그것을 목소리 로 통칭함으로써 그 목소리들이 갖는 의미를 추론하고 있다. 최인훈의 소설과 희곡에서 이러한 목소리들은 어디선가 들려오는 음(音)과 같이 자연스럽게 끼어든다. 이러한 목소리들은 텍스트 저변에 은폐되어 있어서 중심화 되지 못하는 것처럼 보이지만 실제로 텍스트 상에서는 억압되어 있는 입장들을 대변하고 있다. 탈식민화가 형식적인 정치적 독립과 민족주의 의식만으로 해결하지 못한 온갖 식민주의적 흔적들로 고착된 사회의 낡은 틀을 바꾸려는 지속적인 변혁과정이라면 본고에서 최인훈 문학의 특징으로 규정하고 있는 탈식민성은 식민지로부터 독립되었지만 여전히 식민주의적 흔적들을 벗어버릴 수 없는 현실에 대한 진단을 바탕으로 그러한 식민성을 벗어내기 위한 전략적 노력을 말한다. 따라서 본고는 탈식민주의적 시각을 견지하면서 최인훈 문학을 바라보고 최인훈 문학이 식민성을 극복하기 위해 사용하는 전략적 노력을 탈식민성이라고 개념화한다. 이것은 현실에 대한 진단을 넘어서 그것을 극복하려는 노력으로까지 나아가고 있기 때문에 상당히 진보적인 글쓰기이자 저항적인 글쓰기이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 최인훈 문학은 몇 가지 모순점들을 지니고 있다. 신식민지적 상황에 대한 저항의지를 보여주면서 그것과 대결하는 구도를 사용하지만 정작 여성(민중)을 바라보는 시각에서는 전근대적 사고방식을 보여준다. 탈식민주의 페미니즘의 시각을 빌려 최인훈 문학을 살펴보는 일은 상당한 의미가 있다. 최인훈 문학은 저항의지를 보여주기 위해 여성을 도구로써 자주 사용하고 있는데 이때의 여성은 여성주체로서의 의미보다는 텍스트 전체적인 구조를 맞추기 위해 또는 실천적 의지를 표명하기 위해 대상화되는 존재이다. 최인훈 문학에서 이러한 여성(민중)에 대한 폭력성은 바로 우리 근대 문학사가 지니고 있는 탈식민성의 또 다른 한 차원으로 규정되며 이것은 제국적인 것을 비판하면서 제국적인 폭력을 답습하고 있는 한계점으로 남는다.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the postcolonialism attention time which will burn under point of view from most is and it sees Choi In hun's literary world-wide whole, Choi In hun's literary world of re-illuminating is to a place. The playwright is in the same time when it is a novelist, Choi In-hun's literary world was caused by with difference of factual style for and it was a work of one author and it separated despite and it was researched and it was come. This paper stipulates Choi In hun literature's postcolonial and includes both novel and drama. For this paper characterizes Choi In-hun's literary world, don't study only novels' text. Beside, where moving between a genre, his literary world changes consequently in mobile right and wrong of style for a possibility of making with only novel text. Therefore, for Choi In hun's the literary world finds out closely movement of the style which stands the change which is minute from between the postcolonity which will burn gets wider it will listen and to read the infield it did.
