The 「Strike」 that has been discussed as a social issue may be a 「necessary evil」 that may arise during the negotiation between the employer and the employees. In this study we have visualized the impacts of the strike on economy by analyzing the impacts quantitatively. We have executed pragmatic analysis on macro effects by macro measurement models and industrial effects by industrial models.
In the macro model, the shock of the strike will make an influence on the production volume in the total structure of the models. The production volume will make an influence on the price and the price will make an influence on Manufacturers' Price Index. Finally, it will make impacts on price, consumption, GDP, total fixed asset composition, export and employment rate. We have used AREMOS developed by WEFA to estimate the macro model. We have executed historical simulation and mock policy experiments for the creation of the formula and execution of the stability test on the formula. In the industrial model, we have reviewed impacts on each industry by calculating the production ratio using industry relation table.
In the result, the strike arising from the conflicts between the employer and the employees seems to make negative effects on national economy.
We have reviewed the impacts of the strike on economy. We can find the meaning of this study that it will be considered in the negotiation and policy establishment not to make the strike expanded to the serious problems that will give severe damage on public good and national economy.
